Just for you "Easter Blossoms"

Hello again! Today I have another card for you created with the lovely Stampin Up! "Easter Blossoms" stamp set. I looked to the Colour Coach for inspiration  and when I pulled Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy and Crumb Cake Cardstock out I wasn't sure if the colour combo worked. Now that the card is complete I really like how they work together. What do you think?

"Get the Flags Out "

Hello...and good morning..I hope you are enjoying what looks like the beginning of spring where you are! It's a lovely morning here. It is amazing how positive a little bit of sunshine makes you feel :0)
Today I would like to share with you a card I made a couple of weeks ago...I couldn't show you before as it was made for my Husband Jon's Birthday..from the children and until now it has been on display with his other birthday cards.
Like my previous post it has been made almost completely with Stampin up! Punches (Petite Pennant Builder Punch) with just the sentiment being stamped (Hostess set-Happiest Birthday Wishes). I have also used the same colours - Poppy Parade, Baja Breeze, So Saffron and Tangerine Tango and  Not Quite Navy the Faux stitching was added with a white Uni-Ball gel pen (all available from Stampin Up!).
Have a good Day...x

Sending you Love

Hello.....Just a quick post to share with you a card i made this evening. Not much stamping in this one. Just the sentiment ( SU! Easy Events) and the Balloon basket (SU! build a cupcake).
I enjoy making cards with added dimension and this one folds nice and flat for posting.
Hope you like it.

A New Blog.......Beautiful "Easter Blossoms" and A "Spice Cake Bunny"!

Hello and Good Morning...welcome to my first ever blog posting!
It has been in its developmental stage since last October when I first became a Stampin Up! demonstrator ......it is still all very new, I hope you can be patient with me until i get to grips with the technology!
I have always loved crafts, but have only started card making in earnest since September 2011. That is when I discovered Stampin Up! I had bought bits and pieces of card making stash from craft shops and the Internet but got very frustrated at the fact I had spent a lot of money and nothing "matched".
That is what I love about SU products - EVERYTHING is co-ordinated card stock, inks, ribbons and embellishments. Their rubber stamps are excellent quality and all very competitively priced - and more so now since I get a great discount by becoming a demonstrator. The Idea Catalogue has everything you need to create wonderful projects.....and feed my crafting bug :0) !!!

This is a card I have created from a stamp set available in the "Spring Mini Catalogue". Called "Easter Blossoms", it is made using a faux mother of pearl technique.

Stampin Up! also supply beautiful designer fabrics that co-ordinate with their stamp sets. This little fella was made from "Spice Cake Fabric". I made the rabbit following a simple template in this months "Your Home" Magazine - you can download the template and other craft templates free at www.yhmag.co.uk
I am no seamstress but I really enjoyed making it.

Hope you enjoy my projects - please pop back again for some more crafty makes.
